Begin your day in Asti with a guided visit to a traditional farmer’s market, where you will explore the ingredients that shape Piedmont cuisine.

 

As you walk through the market, you will discover seasonal vegetables, local cheeses, flours and other fresh products, meeting producers and learning more about the culture of Italian food. After the market experience, you will head to Alfredo’s kitchen for a hands-on cooking class focused on fresh pasta.

 

Guided step by step, you will learn how to prepare the dough from scratch, knead it by hand and work it into perfect sheets using an electric pasta machine. The class is designed to be simple, enjoyable and suitable even for complete beginners. Using the ingredients and inspiration of the day, you will prepare a fresh seasonal pasta dish enriched with black truffle, one of the most appreciated ingredients of the region.
